Can anyone tell me why my cupcakes flatten out at the top instead of rising??

Make sure you don't overmix the batter, and oven temp as well. Mix just until combined otherwise you whip out your air bubbles.... hope this helps!

Are you using high speed on your mixer...maybe try a little lower speed and see if it helps.
