i would like to know if anyone could recommend some icing flavors for the yellow classic cake mix and is it a good mix to use for a wedding cake?

A great icing for the yellow classic cake mix aside from chocolate, is caramel. Also, you could mix orange extract with the basic buttercream icing for an outstanding taste. You can add food coloring to enhance the look if you desire a more orange color. As for using this mix for a wedding cake, it can be done. However, you would need to adjust the ingredients somewhat to make it more of a "pound cake" texture. You will need to use a 3.5 oz box of instant pudding, 4 eggs, 3/4 cup water, 3/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 tsp butter flavored extract per mix. I hope this helps.
